Heritage Flight Museum
Volunteering at the Heritage Flight Museum will give you the opportunity to interact with some of the rarest vintage aircraft still flying. Volunteers are an essential part of our efforts; not only do they represent the Museum to our visitors, but they keep things running smoothly! Museum docents represent the majority of volunteers, however, we welcome anyone with a desire to learn more about the history we preserve and to support the museum by sharing their time and talent.
We are open Friday and Saturday, 10-3pm, and need front desk greeters as well as docents. Fly days are full of opportunities in varied positions from working with children to crowd control. Even days when the museum is closed, staff love to see volunteers come in to help with general cleaning and special projects, or perhaps you could be picked to join our well-trained aircraft cleaning crew!
If you would like more information, please stop by the museum and pick up an application or contact Diane Dietsch, Volunteer Program Director at 360-424-5151, ext. 107.
